Sports Day Celebrated at Navgan Mahavidyalaya on the Occasion of Hockey Wizard Dhyan Chand’s Birth Anniversary

Parli Vaijnath: Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Navgan Mahavidyalaya, Parli Vaijnath, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Hockey Wizard, Major Dhyan Chand. The college principal, Dr. Abasaheb Hange, was the chief guest for the program.

The introductory address (Prastavik) was given by Dr. Ravindra Machale. He praised Major Dhyan Chand’s contribution to the field of sports and appealed to the students to draw inspiration from him in their own sporting endeavors. The program was anchored (Sutrasanchalan) and the vote of thanks (Aabhar Pradarshan) was delivered by Professor Uddhav Mule.

Students participated enthusiastically in the event. The various activities organized for Sports Day raised awareness about sports among the students. The program concluded successfully.
